So, I know the obvious answer is to upgrade (it always is, right); HOWEVER, I've been using my mail signatures for years, even just within the last month or so.....and all of a sudden when I click on the signatures to edit, the signature box just shows blank with no options to edit or add/subtract. Anyone know why? See picture below.

It sounds like some glitch may have confused the OS and/or the app.
If a simple reboot of your Mac doesn’t fix things, see if the problem still happens in Safe mode (press and hold the shift key down at startup). It can take much longer to safe boot (5 min) so be patient.
