Apple failed to repair my issue

I sent in my MacBook Pro 2019 for a battery issue. What I got back was a laptop that had a lid switch replaced, and didnt resolve the original issue.

After two chat sessions, Apple will not send me a box back so that they will perform a repair that I paid for. The tech insisted on doing SMC/PRAM resets, which were not the problem.

I know that they have their checklist, but after a 30+ Apple guy, this is REALLY unsatisfactory.

If you mailed the laptop to Apple for the repair, then take it to an Apple Store or an Apple Authorized Service Provider as there is a 90 day repair warranty on the laptop. You can drive yourself crazy trying to deal with issues remotely with Apple support sometimes. Sometimes you just need to talk with a tech face to face and have them examine the laptop. There should be no problem with them getting the issue resolved for you.
