why does my iPhone 12 keep freezing

Check to see how much free available storage space you have on your iPhone 11. To find out, open Settings ➡️ General ➡️ About ➡️ Available: Here, you will see the available storage space on your iPhone. There should be at least 10GB of available space for the iPhone to operate efficiently under most situations.

Check to see your Battery Health. You may have a poor battery condition which cannot provide sufficient power for peak performance. What is the Battery Health of your iPhone? Open Settings ➡️ Battery ➡️ Battery Health and let us know which percentage you see for Maximum Capacity. Also note what is written under Peak Performance. If your battery's Maximum Capacity shows a value of 80% or less, then it has gone through its lifecycle and therefore should be replaced, according to Apple.

I am surprised that the battery being so close to 80%, it was not recommended to change it and try UNLESS the hardware issue was clearly identified including the parts.
