A New Mac with a new ID and not filled by old folders and millions of pics ( more then 10 yrs ) Possible ???

A new clean ID , ICloud etc ???

Hey , I will get a new Mac Air but wish to start with a separate New ID and new ICloud so that I leave my 10 yrs folders on the actual Mac .That including my IPhone which I would clean up before hand . Now, I ain't a "insider" ! Can it be done ?And how?

Hi alainklarer,

You're welcome to create a new Apple ID, but understand that any purchases, subscriptions and other material will not transfer to the new ID so it would truly be a completely blank slate.

You may do so during the set up of the device, or by following the steps from How to create a new Apple ID for the device of your choosing.
