Final Cut Pro hangs on Audio Unit validation.

After installing Ventura, Final Cut Pro is hanging on Audio Unit validation. Logic and Digital Performer both validated the AUs fine, so I know the AUs are not bad. It must be a FCP bug.

Is there a workaround until Apple fixes this bug?

I tried deleting the preferences. It didn't work.

Input Monitoring stops working until restart Sometimes when I'm monitoring input for recording in Logic, it just stops monitoring between playbacks. Nothing is toggled, the trigger seems to be that playback has stopped and then started again. Restarting Logic fixes the problem. The input shows up in the gain meter, but it cannot be heard, though no configuration has changed.

Logic Pro X Volume differences Hey there, I'm having a problem when playing back sounds in logic. If the play head starts right at the region, it seems to play the sound quietly. When the playhead is a few seconds/ms before the region it plays it at the intended volume. This seems to also happen whenever I export the region or bounce the audio. Is this some setting that I am not noticing? Or is this a quirk with Logic? Is there a solution to this issue? I am running Logic in Rosetta on a base 2021 MacBook Pro M1 Pro. Thank you.

Separate users is really a good suggestion. Many editors have one user for work applications and another for their personal or business needs. One for video and one for music makes perfect sense.

Quick workarond is to rename the Components folder for the FCP startup and after the FCP is working rename it back and all your other programs that use those AU's is working as usual!
