Ancient iPad won’t accept iCloud password

I am using the correct iCloud password but it keeps kicking it out saying that it isn’t correct.

I’m trying to upload my photos from my first iPad to the cloud, but it won’t accept the password. Strangely enough when I sign into iCloud on any other device it shows my current iPad, my iPad Pro, and my mini iPad, but not my original iPad. My guess is this is also because it’s not connecting to iCloud because of the password issue.

beyond that the old iPad appears to work just fine surprisingly for its age, I got it in 2011, it’s currently on version 8.4.1

Greetings JGeese,

According to this resource, if you are unable to sing into iCloud: "If you still need help signing in to iCloud, update your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch to the latest version of iOS or iPadOS, and your Mac to the latest version of macOS. See the iCloud system requirements for more information." If you can't connect or sign in to iCloud

You can find a list of which systems are needed in order to use iCloud here: If you can't connect or sign in to iCloud

We hope this helps!

Sincerely.
