iPhone doesn't receive OTPs

Hey

My phone suddenly stopped receiving OTPs from a couple of services, including the bank I'm using, Amazon and a barbershop (!). At the same time OTPs from other services get through.

I checked with my carrier - it's not on their end.

Amazon told me that their system just doesn't allow them to send a message to my number.

I tried switching the phone off and on again, checked and unchecked iMessage, checked blocked contacts, reset network settings - none of that helped.

The model of the phone is iPhone XS, software version 14.8 in case this helps.

If anyone could help me and explain how to approach this problem, I'd be very grateful.
