Chart Source Data format from Tables not respected on Y1 Axis?

I used to have columns E and F set as “dollars” currency (which are for values that will display on the Y axis of a chart -- my red and blue lines -- but I changed E and F to a “number” format.

Yet, when I go to chart settings and set Y axis as “same as source data” it still uses dollars on Y1?

What have I missed? Pls see my first 3 images:

Also, I seem to have 4 decimal places with one of the 4 charts which has respected the fact I want the Y1 axis set as a "same as source" from a column whose values are also set to "number." Noe sure how to get it to 2 decimal places? Pls see last 4 images.

Cheers,,

This appears to be a line chart (not a scatter chart). The one anomaly I see is that "11800" is not all the way to the left on the X axis. There appears to be one category before it, meaning it appears you included the row above 11800 in your chart data. To the best of my knowledge, the "same as source data" setting gets its information from the top cell of the leftmost series. If the chart includes the blank cell in the row above, it is possible that cell is formatted just like you see on the chart. My recommendation would be to Edit Data References and remove that row from the chart.

There also seems to be one category extra on the right side but that one is not a problem.
