using scribble with Notes app is too unpredictable. Has anybody figured out or found a reliable way to use scribble or the Apple pencil? 1) in the notes app the Apple Pencil randomly decides to start a new paragraph in the middle of a sentence. And there is no way to bring the cursor back to a previous line without opening the keyboard. 2) there is no way to start a new line, while writing this post. 3) placing the cursor in a specific location, is no guarantee scribble will continue from that specific location.

Auto Line straightening feature with Apple Pencil not working in Books on my iPad. Lines and figures I hand write in a pdf inside the apple Books app used to get 'straight' when I maintained the pencil tip for a few seconds in the end point of the line. Suddenly it stopped doing it. It still does it in other apps like apple Notes and others. I am not aware of any parameter that governs this behaviour, and that does not happen in another equal iPad with same level IOS and apps, so something happened to my pencil or iPad that I cannot figure out. I did uninstall and install the apple Books app but the error persists. Any ideas? [Re-Titled By Moderator]

The following information offers details about gestures :

"Go to Settings > Accessibility > Apple Pencil.
Do any of the following:

Turn off Double Tap Gesture.
Change the duration of the double tap gesture to Slow or Slowest." Change Apple Pencil (2nd generation) settings
