Where is my Apple Wallet on MacOS?

I bought tickets for a concert, and the shop came up with buttons to add the tickes to my Apple Wallet. I clicked those, and then... nothing.

There is no Wallet app on MacOS. Where does MacOS keep the items? I can't see the tickets in Apple Wallet on other iCloud synced devices either.

When looking for help or info on this topic, only Apple Pay guides come up, but that is not applicable in this case.

When you add a ticket from Safari on a Mac, it get added to Apple Wallet to your iCloud account. It does not appear on your Mac as there is no equivalent Apple Wallet app for macOS. Instead, since it went to iCloud, it should become available from the Wallet app on either an iPhone or Apple Watch.

Dear K, I appreciate your attempt to help, but please read my question first. It is not about paying anything.

I got concert tickets to put in my Wallet. But in MacOS, these just dissappear to an unknown destination.

This (zee support link) seems to apply only to iPhone, but in Safari MacOS, it does not complain, and all looks fine.

Also mentioned, details that may actually apply to the process.

Check the setup for iCloud features, as some might not appear.

This may affect anything involving Safari and extensions; actions may fail.

From the above, these may/or not apply:

I came across a situation where I ordered tickets in Safari MacOS. The site showed the Add to Apple Wallet button, I clicked it and the ui did something that looked like the items where stored in one way or another. The OS nor Safari did complain or come up with a message that this was not possible.

When I tried to click the button again, a message appeared that aaid that the item was already saved to my Wallet.

I think Apple should make the procedure more logical, an maybe create a Wallet ap for MacOS.

Well, mention of how to set up those items for macOS seems

to be covered in some articles about using iPhone with Mac.

And doing so, first, appears to help in some instances.

.That said, while I have an iPhone (+ spare) & several Macs.

I've not used credit or debit with wallet, or card so far. Most

stuff is directly paid from financial institutions; & paperless.

The imore article covers both; yet loaded w/ ads, are blocked

by my Mac's browsers. Results found by duckduckgo search.

..Jaydude..

This matter is really about Apple Wallet not belonging to macOS at all.

Several products, items, apps, only run in iDevices; some use iPad Pro.

Fewer use Mac + macOS; and details to match, require further study.

While some official Support pages, and a few others, (perhaps dated)

tell these in passing. For the most part, that era of blurred use is gone.

So those pages and methods referred to, did say a fair bit about

about Wallet. These do factor, to omit macOS, as matter of course.

Certain features availability vary; some in US and/or Canada.

Ask Official Apple Support, through their home page links.
