Verifying Genuine AirPods:

  1. Get the Serial Number: Find the Serial Number of your AirPods - Apple Support
  2. Enter the Serial Number here: https://checkcoverage.apple.com/.
  3. View the Results: If all shows up as an AirPod, then you are fine. If not, then these are fake, and that is likely why you are getting the issue of connectivity.

There are several ways to check if your AirPods Pro are original or fake. Here are some steps you can take:

  1. Check the packaging: Look for any signs of poor quality, spelling mistakes, or incorrect logos. Genuine AirPods Pro come in a sturdy box with a smooth finish and Apple logo.
  2. Check the serial number: You can find the serial number on the AirPods Pro case or the charging cable. Enter the serial number on the Apple website or use the Apple Support app to see if your AirPods Pro are genuine.
  3. Check the sound quality: Genuine AirPods Pro produce high-quality sound and offer active noise cancellation. If the sound quality is poor or there is no active noise cancellation, then they might be fake.
  4. Check the weight: The genuine AirPods Pro should weigh 5.4 grams each, and the charging case should weigh 45.6 grams. If they weigh significantly less or more, they may be fake.
  5. Check the sensors: Genuine AirPods Pro have sensors that pause the music when you remove them from your ears. You can test this feature by taking the AirPods Pro out of your ears and seeing if the music pauses.

If you are still unsure, it's best to take your AirPods Pro to an Apple store or an authorized reseller to have them checked.
