Apple Watch workout shares a cropped incomplete screenshot to social media

im just trying to share my running workouts to IG Stories or FB Stories, Ive seen peoples sharing where there is the full ring at the bottom with details about the workout, and a photo.

im unable to add a photo to my workout to share, and when I try and share I just get this badly cropped, incomplete pixelated result:

has anyone figured out how to share properly and add a photo to workout?

im on an iPhone SE 2020 model, and iOS 16.4

Hello ly.jordy17,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. When viewing your Workout Details on the Activity app, you can select the Share button to share your workout details on Instagram. There are only three options to choose from: Post, Story & Message

If you select story, the image will appear like the one you shared in your screenshot. You can resize your image by pinching in with your fingers. If you wish to share your Activity rings instead, you can follow these steps here:

1.) Open the Activity app.

2.) Select Summary.

3.) Under Activity, tap on the image (rings).

4.) Select the Share button to share the image.
