Apple Calendar and Apple Reminders - sets different date from my intention
I have exactly the same problem as this person did (Calendar date wrong - Apple Community) but the answers he or she got suggest that the problem was not clear to readers.
The apps affected are Apple Calendar and Apple Reminders.
The problem only arose in March when I returned from an interstate trip into a different time zone by one hour. “Set Automatically” is turned on in Date and Time Settings.
Now, my alarms and notifications from my calendar arrive an hour early (same as the time zone change I travelled to and returned from), even though it says the right time on the notification.
And if I try to set a new appt or reminder for (say) 23 April, when I tap on 23 April on the pop-up calendar, it ‘slips’ to 22 April. Very strange behaviour and never happened before the trip into the different time zone.
I think this is the same problem described in the question I linked at the top.
I have tried turning the ipad and iphone off and on again. I have tried turning the “Set Automatically” setting off. The date and time are showing as correct in settings.
