Hello smart people, I noticed that the pressure sensitivity and and angling the pencil on both the notes app and notability will not change the thickness of my writing. All other features work as expected. I have tried restarting my iPad and changing settings which haven’t worked. I used this feature often and would be very sad if I cannot get it to work.

I tried a new tip which did not fix it, and also noticed the tip is bent no matter which tip i use meaning the inner metal is bent. I tried someone else’s pencil and it works just fine so it is definitely the pencil. How can i get this fixed?
If the inner metal transducer element has been damaged, there is no alternative other than to replace the Pencil itself.
The only serviceable component of the Apple Pencil, intended to be replaced as soon as any wear is noted, is the user-replaceable Pencil Tip.
If your Pencil is within its one year Apple limited warranty, you might get lucky and have your Pencil replaced. If applicable, you would be best advised to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store:
