Knocking sound on iPhone calls

I've been with Tmobile since 2011...live the service but this knocking is ridiculous. I'm not interested in switching carriers...my dghtrs both have iphones with AT&T. My husband and I are on my Tmobile plan and it seems to only happen to me. Doesn't matter who I'm talking to, the phone they have, or the carrier. Quite annoying and Tmobile need to address it. I say let's tak2 it to social media then maybe they'll address it

i just got two different iPhone 14 Pro mix and info was transferred to two separate phones and I still have same problem. Been to Apple before replacing phones they said nothing was wrong also same thing with t mobilr. No one can do a thing about it

I use GoogleFi and I have an iPhone 12 max and this happens nearly every phone call when I call via the phone (not using an app). It didn’t happen when I used WhatsApp to make calls, but it does happen especially when I talk to other iPhones. It kinda drives me crazy.

I have both. The knocking sound is so annoying, sometimes it’s loud, sometimes it fast or slow it does different things, I feel like I’m being spied on. My friend doesn’t hear it on her end but when she talks or makes a noise it stops but just for a little bit. When hears like a bleeping out on her end.

This is a carrier issue. Not a phone issue. I have a Google pixel 7 pro and use Google Fi . Which piggybacks multiple carriers. I hear it only sometimes which means it's a carrier issue. I used to work for a cellular construction company and t-mobile was one carrier that used a ton of sub contractors. Sometimes we'd have to go through 2 to 3 contractors to get paid but we were doing the work. So you get what you pay for. Don't put other contractors in line to pay other contractors it's a stupid practice and it only leads to shoddy work when a sub isn't paid on time or isn't given what they are owed. Which happens more than it should. Metro PCS was bad with this too. We did some AT&T work, cricket, clear channel, some microwave internet.. Verizon may also charge way too much, but they do all their work in house, so it's done well and correctly. At least it was 14 years ago when I was doing cellular construction, It changes so fast now it's hard to know and I haven't kept up. But I doubt t mobile has changed how they do their construction management.

Yes, I switched from Verizon to T mobile new iPhone, and this exact thing happened on my phone.

sounds like knocking or someone walking on a hardwood flor while you’re on the phone.

im taking this back and switching back to Verizon and an older phone.

I have IPhone 15 plus recently brought and since a week I’ve been noticing the knocking sound when I’m already on a call n it happens randomly on WhatsApp call or normal call. When the other person is talking n suddenly when I hear the knock I can’t hear the person talking for few seconds. Can this issue be fixed?

I haven’t found any resolution. No one believed me. I’m so glad that you said this because what you’re describing is exactly my situation with Tmobile and my iPhone for the past year and a half. I got the SE one and a half years ago 01/15/2022 and that’s when it started.

Same thing is happening to me and I recently switched to T-Mobile. Never had this happen prior to switching. Very annoyed.

Knocking sound. When asked who I was talking to what that sound was they replied they didn’t hear anything. It would knock 5-6 times stop for about 30 sec-1 min and do it again

Same issue here. Recently migrated to T-Mobile and using a new iPhone 14 Pro Max. The knocking did not occur when I was on the Verizon Wireless network.

Not just iPhone!!!! I also experienced knocking on my Google Pixel. It’s T-Mobile

I just changed from cricket to Mint and I have an iPhone SE. Tonight I called my son who is also in Mint. I could clearly hear a knocking sound like knocking at the door. My son does not hear it. Why would I be hearing a knocking sound when I make a call?
