How do I know if my new iPhone is paired with my old Apple Watch?

I bought a new iPhone 14 PRO and transferred service to the new phone - I accidentally erased my old phone before verifying my Apple Watch was paired with my new phone. How do I pair the watch now without my old phone?

I suggest erasing the watch and setting it up as new with the new iPhone. If you have a backup of the watch you can restore the watch to the backup.
