App problems

My FaceTime app won’t allow me to sign in no matter what I have tried. What should I do to get it working?

Hello bam08bam,

We understand you need help signing in to FaceTime on your iPhone. We have a great resource with steps to help resolve that. Start here: If you can’t turn on or sign in to iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support

  1. Test signing in while connected to Wi-Fi, a different Wi-Fi network, and using cellular data.
  2. Go to Settings > General > Date & Time to confirm those settings are correct, specifically your time zone.
  3. Go to Settings > General > Software Update to install any iOS updates.
  4. Confirm you can send and receive SMS (green bubble) text messages.
  5. Go to Settings > FaceTime and turn off FaceTime.
  6. Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
  7. Go back to Settings > FaceTime and turn on FaceTime.

If you still aren't able to sign in to FaceTime after a full 24 hours, our next recommended step would be to reach out to our support teams directly. You can reach them here: Get Support - Apple

You can also find our phone number for your region at this link: Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support

Take care.
