Is Apple TV app broken in India?

I recently purchased Avatar The Way of Water from Apple TV app to watch on my TV. It showed that the movie was in 4K Dolby Vision as shown below

But when I actually played it, it ran a poor 480p on a huge 4K screen leading to very bad experience. When I checked it on iTunes app, it showed correctly that only SD version is available as shown below.

This is false advertising on Apple’s part. They are claiming a video to be 4K when it’s actually not. This is pure fraud and cheating. Not telling the buyers correctly what they are buying. Apple should definitely fix this issues.

you show an iphone appletv app maybe if the iphone in question does not feature and 4K display resolution it offer the SD on the iphone as the iphone would not be able to display 4k so would be a waste of data to attempt to stream a 4k material

you can try Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple - Apple Support

and or try to reach out to their support channels

I have tried accessing the app on my macbook pro as well. Same thing. Movie streams in SD but info page shows 4k. It should atleast play Full HD.

i got the the refund though. But what i wanted to point out was that the movie information being shown in the app is not correct. One cannot make an informed buying decision like this.
