Unable to verify name or password

Mail is unable to verify name or password for Office 365. I’ve reset the password, deleted the account and tried to add it back in but cannot. The account works on webmail, and on both my iPad and iPhone with new new password Thoughts? Thanks.

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.13

The mail app in macOS high Sierra does not support 'modern authentication' which is required now for MS 365.

High Sierra is no longer supported. You will be limited to webmail for MS 365 access unless your Mac is capable of running a supported version of macOS.
