Why isn’t Apple Music classical available to under 13’s?
My daughter can’t play music on Apple classical. Seems odd to me that it is because she’s under 13.

The age restriction for Apple Music Classical is 4+.
My understanding is to does require an Apple Music subscription. In order to subscribe to Apple Music herself, she would have to be at least 13. Maybe that’s the issue…
While it's true that the App Store says "4+ Years Old," the FAQ section of the Apple Music Classical support page says, "Apple Music Classical isn’t currently available for children under the age of 13."
We're having the same problem. Our 11 year old cannot access Apple Music Classical despite having a functioning Apple Music account on his iPhone and the latest version of iOS.
For classical music lovers (and their children): The apps Qobuz and Idagio don't seem to have the same age restrictions as long as you give consent

Yes, confirmed when I called, not available under the age of 13.
This is just crazy! Apple Music Classical was recommended by the music school. Quite unexpected really.
I dunno. The plots of some operas are pretty salacious. ;-)

same here. Apple music incuding explicit songs can be played, but classical not.
