The mailboxes are on my iMac. I created 2 new mailboxes yesterday & they are the only ones that I cannot click and drag email into. I just checked ALL my other mailboxes & they respond when I click and drag.

I also tried Right Click on it & choose Copy to...& Right Click on it & choose Move to...Neither of those methods resulted in an email successfully moved to either new mailbox. Thank you for your time and efforts! This is what part of my mailboxes look like

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.

If you have no POP accounts & they’re all IMAP accounts then in Mail’s Mailbox menu choose Rebuild.

Are the newly created boxes On My Mac, or on the Server?

What happens if you Right Click on it & choose Copy to...
