Polish iPhone in US

I recently had the terrible experience of losing my phone while abroad in Europe. I’m a Verizon customer. I still had 7 days in Europe so it was recommended to me to buy a fully unlocked iPhone in Poland as it would easily connect to Verizon upon return to the US… Verizon can’t figure out how to do this though. Is Apple able to provide a new SIM card to connect to Verizon’s network?

Ok, well maybe Apple upped what countries can now sell unlocked iPhones ... so, I believe I learned something new today ... thanks!

Back to the issue at hand. I believe you still have a couple of options to get this resolved:

  1. Completely restore the phone, and if that doesn't help,
  2. Make a Genius Bar appointment at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider to have them take a look and provide you with your options. Alternately, you can try contacting Apple directly by using the "Support" link on the bottom left-hand side of this forum's web page.
