Emails not synching across devices macbook pro, iphone 14 and ipad using mail

Hi

I use mail across all 3 devices and they used to sycn quite happily ie I could delete, reply and file on one device and the other two would update these changes.

I recently moved one of my email accounts with BT (retaining same email address etc) and they would not load the emails down so the account was removed from all 3 devices and reinstalled.

The emails now come in and send correctly to all 3 devices but will not sync.

I've tried adding icloud to iphone and ipad but no change.

Please can you help as my inbox is getting more and more confused.

It depends on type of accounts too.


If you have POP type of account than You may not able to sync them.


If they are IMAP,


Then Make back up of all of the devices.


Update them to latest software.


Then Remove accounts and add them again.


Make Sure you have enough storage on your devices.


Make sure you are not using any VPNs or any antivirus software. If you are using remove them.


Contact your ESP to get specific settings of Incoming and outgoing mail server if you are using other email providers than gmail,aol, yahoo, outlook, icloud, exchange.
