My Macbook MagSafe Power Adapter is Leaking Yellow Liquid

Dear members of the Apple Community,

I am writing to request your assistance regarding an issue that I have encountered with my MacBook MagSafe Power Adapter. Recently, I have noticed that my adapter is leaking a yellowish liquid or gel, and my charger has stopped working.

I have been a long-time user of my MacBook and have never previously encountered any problems with the power adapter. The yellow liquid appears to be emanating from the area where two parts of the adapter are connected. Despite my attempts to clean and wipe away the liquid, it persistently reappears.

After visiting an authorized Apple service center in Pune, India, I was informed that my charger is still under warranty. However, they have suggested that the yellowish color could be a result of spilling coffee on the adapter, which I found to be an unexpected response.

Upon researching online, I discovered that many individuals have experienced similar problems with their MacBook Adapters.

I would be grateful if you could offer any advice on how I should proceed in this situation.

Thank you for your assistance.
