All my files are greyed out in application "Open File" dialog boxes... yet I can still select them.

Since updating to Ventura 13.3 a few days ago, all my files are greyed out but are still selectable. This seems to be happening when I access files via the "Open File" dialog box of an application.

It is definitely happening with both Premiere Pro and Cubase, two completely separate software architectures.

What happens is I select File - Open and then the list that appears is entirely greyed out. However, if I then select any one of the files the entire list suddenly becomes non-greyed.

What is going on? It's not good. The attached screengrabs are from the File Open dialog of Cubase.

One other thing to add, which I've just noticed - if I scroll the greyed out list up and down, and the top and bottom half dozen or so are scrolled out of view... they come back non greyed out. So in that situation the entries top and bottom are normal and the ones in between are greyed out.

So it's looking to me like a GPU issue. Goodness knows I have had terrible trouble with Photoshop, it's been atrocious. I've had to turn the GPU off in Photoshop because all the images were scrambled or black.
