Mac Mini Library

So we have a mac mini that we use as a base to buy movies and tv shows, alongside it we have a couple apple tvs that we want to add the local libraries to so that we don't have to stream it through the store and use up data. Home sharing is on and have turned it off and signed out and tried that, but the library won't show up on the computers section of the apple tv, any ideas how to get it going? thanks
