Apple Music

This morning my girlfriends and I’s Apple Music have decided to sync somehow, problem is I’ve now lost loads of songs and playlists because they were transferred to her phone and vice versa, we have completely separate apple ID’s and we don’t share logins or accounts for anything, im not sure how it’s possible, how it works or if it’s reversible, wasn’t sure if there was anything that can be done to fix this issue

iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 16

Hi Adk114,

Do either of you sync with a computer in your home?

It's not really possible to have devices change libraries one to the other in the way you're describing. It is possible to connect to a computer and have that computer's library sync to the iPhone.

Is it possible you've mixed up each other's devices?

Let us know more about what's happened and we can try to advise you from there.
