IPhone 12 casting to TV

My iPhone 12 stopped casting to my TV. I have a chrome cast device plugged into the HDMI port. For instance, when I try to watch Prime video…it shows the cast symbol on my phone…. I hit and it usually casts with no problems. But now it searches…then message stating “no device” found. Usually it will cast to living room tv. I’m confused. Can anyone help? Thanks

Try some Troubleshooting:


1. Restart your Chromecast, check if it is connected to Wi-Fi.

2. Close the Prime Video app completely and restart your iPhone.

3. Make sure your iPhone and Chromecast are on the same Wi-Fi.

4. Check if there is an update for Prime Video in the App Store.

5. Check if there is an update for your Chromecast

6. In the last instant, restore your Chromecast to Factory Settings
