My year old iphone can get G3 and G4 but it cannot get G5, yet my partners iphone, exactly the same and brought at the same time can get G5 all the time. Why do I have this problem.
Contact your cellular carrier and ask them. You might need a new traffic plan and/or a new SIM card or eSIM.

Contact your carrier, and confirm that your plan and your SIM are correct for 5G cellular access, for your 5G-capable iPhone.
What is G3, G4, G5?
Did you mean 5G cellular connection?
