black screen

my phone froze i plugged it in to charge and now i can hear the phone ringing but my screen is still black

Try force reset: quickly press and release volume up then volume down, one after the other, then press and hold the power button until Apple logo appears.

if this doesn’t work then contact Apple

My phone goes black My iphone xr always goes black when for example listening to a voice message and accidentally putting my finger over the front camera. the phone still works i get notifications and if the message is long enough i can still hear it but the screen is black and nothing can turn it on. i tried to force a reset but i just get a vibration and nothing happens how do i fix that

This dose not always work however, this has happened to me and you may need to send your phone to apple.
