iTunes songs ending prematurely

On some songs, iTunes randomly ends them before they are over and moves to the next selection. Using MacosVenture13.3.1. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there, Shooobedobedo,

Thanks so much for using Apple Support Communities. We want to help make sure that you are able to enjoy all of your music from start to finish in the Music app.

Is it possible that you are using the crossfade feature in Music without realizing it? This feature is designed to blend seamlessly from one song into the next, but it could possible be creating the effect that you're describing. Here is some more information, including how you can toggle that feature off for testing purposes: Fade between songs in Music on Mac - Apple Support

If that doesn't seem to do the trick, then we would recommend force closing the Music app and re-launching it to see if that may help. You can do that by simply clicking the Apple icon at the top of your screen and choosing "Force Quit..." and then clicking on Music. After Music has closed, go ahead and restart your Mac as well for good measure since that is a step that has proven helpful many times. This article has more info: Shut down or restart your Mac - Apple Support

Once your Mac has restarted, go ahead and reopen the Music app, listen to a few songs and see if they are able to play all the way through.

We hope that this information is helpful.

Have a great day!
