Date of purchase 1985

I bought new iPhone 14 pro, all codes (imei, serial, model) in system like in the box of new iPhone, but when I was checking coverage I saw that date 1 January 1985?


What does it mean? My phone not original, refurbished or what?

If it shows up as a valid Apple device, you can ask Apple to correct its purchase date here:

bought from a trusted seller, sealed in a box, with the similarity of all codes, e-sim version.

Even if it is not new, then the phone itself is not even a year old, the warranty would simply not correspond to the day I bought it, right?


do you really think that there could be a glitch on the epl server during the first registration?
