macOS 13 Ventura BREAKS Panasonic TV connection via HDMI

macOS 13 Ventura BREAKS Panasonic TV connection via HDMI.

The "Apple - System Settings - Displays" shows the Built-in Display ONLY. The Panasonic Smart Viera TX-L47DT60E television (TV) is not shown, even after pressing the Option key and "Detect Displays". Nothing else is detected.

Is there a way to fix it, or is it a Ventura bug?

No problem with previous macOS versions, including Sierra, Big Sur or Monterey, in which such TV automatically showed in "Apple - System Preferences - Displays".

System: macOS 13.3 (22E252) Ventura on iMac 27-inch Retina 5K display 4.2 GHz Intel Core i7 7th-generation; model identifier iMac18,3 mid 2017) 40 GB RAM.

I have since reported the issue directly to Panasonic, and then spent a long while yesterday on the chat and phone to Apple using Applecare which we still have active. I was able to demonstrate on video the TV mirroring perfectly on our Mojave partition and on another Mac running on Monterey and then not working at all with the same cable and connection on Ventura. None of the suggested fixes solved the problem as expected given what many have tried already. I highlighted the Apple Community discussion and felt the technicians very much understood the problem. There was an indication that Apple would discuss with Panasonic so here's hoping.

Cheers.
