Hey Shwoodbu,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. From what we understand the Apple Music app keep saying Turn off Airplane mode. The information below may help.

If you are still experiencing the issue, try updating your iPhone's software if it isn't top-to-date. This can resolve many issues including what you're experiencing. The latest version is iOS 16.4.1. If it isn't updated, follow the steps below to update.

  1. "Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
  2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
  3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
  4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
  5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do."

The steps are also in this article: Update your iPhone or iPad.

If you continue to have the issue, providing more details may help you get more answers.

Take care.
