im unable to pair my apple watch to my iPhone because the watch application is taking a wrong apple ID

It sounds like you may have a new (to you) Apple Watch which was pre-owned and is still secured by the original owner's Activation Lock.

The only solution is to have the lock's owner release it as described in

What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your Apple Watch, or buy one from someone else


If you can't contact the original owner or they can't (won't) release the Activation Lock then the watch is useless and it can never be paired to a different iPhone.
