Why are my AirPods Pro showing as 2 separate Bluetooth device? One for the left and one for the right AirPod. When I try to connect sound only plays on one of the AirPods one at a time.

Hello adwoa229,

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities.

Just to confirm, have you had to have one of the AirPods replaced recently? If so, you will want to make sure they are set up together. To do that, follow the steps found here: Set up your replacement AirPods or charging case - Apple Support

If that isn’t the case, we want to ensure that what you’re seeing isn’t expected. When taking the AirPods out of the case, they will show the left and right individually when looking at the battery widget, if the charge isn’t the same on both. You can learn more about that here: Charge your AirPods and learn about battery life - Apple Support

If neither of those articles help, you will want to reset and then re-pair your AirPods following the steps found below:

Pair AirPods Pro - Apple Support

Kindest regards.
