Updating my MDM device

I'm writing to inquire about updating my iPhone SE 2020, which is currently enrolled in an MDM program. I'm interested in updating to the latest version of iOS, but I'm concerned that the device may become locked or otherwise restricted due to the MDM profile.

Could you please advise me on the best course of action for updating my iPhone while preserving its functionality under the MDM program? I'm looking to ensure that my device remains usable for my work, while also taking advantage of the latest software features.
