Kernel Panic / Ventura

MBP 2019 (16") after updated to Ventura 13.3.1 started to freeze, especially when woken up from the sleep mode.

Ran Apple Diagonistics - no issues.

Additionally, tried to reset SMC and NVRAM without desirable effect. I also played around with hibernation modes (1, 3 and 25). No effect either.

I got 2 separate panics. This one is the most recent.

This is most likely a hardware issue, right? :(

To check the software side of things, run EtreCheck and post the results here using the "Additional Text" tab when composing the message. There is no identifiable information that need redacted and it is a safe program used frequently here in these forums.

I did see that by doing a web search("one drive kernel panic Mac") there were issues of OneDrive causing kernel panic, but the panic reports did not look like yours and never saw if a solution was provided.

With all of the testing you have already done, I have to ask since I did not read it, you have done a Safe Boot and received the same problems?

As we all know the only way to confirm Hardware failure is to do a Clean Install, so no previous files are migrated and test the results. Depending on your backup scenario, you should be able to restore to before the clean install.

I wouldn't rule out a software conflict.

Do you usually have Safari running when it crashes or goes to sleep?

Thanks everyone for the replies.

I kind of "solved" the problem with following settings;

"Turn display off on battery when inactive" to never

"Turn display off on power adapter when inactive" to never.

This seemed to solve the problem, but requires closing the lid or putting the MB to sleep manually each time to not totally drain the battery.

I am planning to do the Clean install which Mac Jim noted. I hope it solves the problem and indicates that hardware is not faulty.
