AirPods don't automatically update
My Airpod Pro (gen 1) ear buds are not automatically updating. Is there a way to do this manually?

Unfortunately, there is no way to force AirPods to update. They will only update if they are plugged in and your phone is nearby.
Your best bet is to plug them in to charge next to your phone and leave it for some time.
