[According to 'helpful reply by user-contributor' ProustGiulio]
"Try this workaround: Settings>Calendar>Accounts... and see if you
have a calendar subscription you accidentally subscribed to. ~ If this
is the case, delete that calendar account, then restart your iPhone."
Most times, this affects iPhone iOS; but iPadOS could be as well.

And they seem to have found a way to fix it.
Look for a any unrecognized subscribed calendar, and remove it.
