I got a warning that my computer was at risk- scary robot voice- followed by an 805 phone number. The scary robot voice said not to close my computer or I would lose data. So, I closed Safari. Any thoughts?

All such messages are scams presented by criminals. Close the offending page and avoid sites that are involved in such bogus advertising tactics. Do not interact with the message or the sender. Do not call any number presented. Never download anything based on such bogus messages.
