Screen time keep updating

I’m using iPhone 11 with iOS 15.6. The problem is the screen time keep updating and it won’t success. I’ve tried restarting iPhone as well as reset all the setting. Problem still unsolved. I’m trying not to update system version so that my iPhone won’t be too lag. What else can I do?

You need to have a good Service & Wi-Fi.


Low Power Mode is On.

Charge the iPhone & wait until the battery is fully charged (100%).

The Low Power Mode will turned off automatically.

You can update your iPhone to iOS 16.4.1

See -> iPhone models compatible with iOS 16.

You need about 6 GB device storage and good Service and/or Wi-Fi.

If they are On, turn Off Hotspot & VPN.

Charge the battery > 70%.

Go to Settings -> General -> Software Update -> Download and Install.

If the Screentime issue is not resolved after updating to iOS 16.4.1, visit an Apple Store or an Apple Authorized Reseller in your region for assistance to diagnose the problem.

And they could offer a possible solution.

You will first have to make an appointment due to the pandemic.

Many users who have updated to iOS 15 and above must have a similar issue if the issues stated by you are due to the iOS.

Unless you state what the issue is many in this forum may not be able to respond positively to the issue you are facing. 



With the limited information that you have provided, It is hard to even guess the problems faced by you.

Alright I’ll consider updating my version to the latest will be my last hope even though it’s compatible with my phone as I’m afraid that my phone performance will get worse like the battery drain issue and so on.
