Will Apple fix internal issues if the screen is scratched due to normal wear and not the cause of the issue? I was told by Best Buy that they would not fix it because of the scratches but I did not find this in the limited warranty.

Save a Few: Put Best Buy aside, and troubleshoot this yourself.
Troubleshooting iPhone WiFi:
A few thoughts to try:
I. Start Here: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch won't Connect to a Wi-Fi Network - Apple Support
II. Clear the Temporary Internet Files:
III. Restart your Router:
IV. Reconnect to your Network:
V. Add Back the Network:
VI. Reset All Network Settings to Default:
Example of items that will be reset: (Wi-Fi Passwords, VPN Connections, etc):
Per Best Buy, only if it is extensively damaged which this is not as I had to hold the screen to light just to see it. I may have to contact them again regarding fixing it.
We have already done all of the troubleshooting with my carrier and a live Apple rep and none of these worked. So an appointment was made and need to know the answer to my question please.
