stop "turn on wifi to use wireless carplay" notification

I figured out how to shut off car play! Settings. General. Car play. Then you can click it off and won’t be irritated every single time it pops up on the phone and car

It’s so bad! This Apple message drives me nutty! I cannot believe no one at Apple has bothered to fix. There should be a car play toggle under notifications to turn it off. Not everyone wants Wi-Fi on all the time!!

Turn off Ask to join Networks in WiFi settings, it might help not draining your battery. And check if there is any apps run/update in the background too!

This drives me crazy on a daily basis. No other app continues to prompt you after you've dismissed a notification. This morning, in driving roughly 300 yards, I got four straight notifications despite clicking "USB only" each time. It feels like forced usage and is a constantly annoying distraction. I get the prompts even when I'm in my house. I've spent hours research a way to disable this to no avail. I prefer a wired connection for improved audio quality, but regardless of the reason, this shouldn't even be an issue. Come on Apple, just fix it.

Apple wants us to use wifi. It knows that without a USB connection the phone is not receiving power. Which means if we turn on wifi, especially in a car, we're killing our batteries, which means many of us will simply replace our phones 2 years down the road as the battery life stinks. At worse, they collect an egregious amount to do a $25 job any 3rd party shop will do. I keep wifi off on my iPhones (2 at all times). Its alarming the depths Apple will go to to dissuade me from doing this. But I smile as my battery life is more than double what it would be if I turned on wifi. With all the moving around I do, all wifi does is constantly search for available networks. There is no solution until Apple moves on to another way of killing our devices and, maybe, turn this one off.
