For Paramount+ it makes a difference how you started the subscription, as the subscription through Paramount+ directly, or in-app in the Paramount+ app on an Apple device (with payment through Apple), or the Apple TV app channel Paramount+, all these types have different terms and conditions, different perks and limitations, and they are generally not exchangeable. Please find which type you have.

Try removing the show from Up Next (tap and hold, then choose Remove). This wouldn’t affect your watch history. Then have the Apple TV app add the show automatically again by watching the show from the source for which your your subscription works (the app or the channel). That should fix the linking for Up Next.
