Is another OS update coming soon?

Just prior to installing the latest OS update, I had been using GEP extensively, smoothly, successfully. After the OS update, all that stopped cold. Having cut my teeth on problem solving during the MS Windows decay into infamy in the 2010s and developing great trust in the Apple system and its updates, I was shocked into dismay (and PTSD) when, having exhausted the GEP remedies, reinstalling the OS was to no avail! This followed a peculiarly arcane trauma of my trusty, reliable Apple keyboard being killed during the last OS update (I was rescued by borrowing my wife's keyboard)! Ususally my karma is prettty good (I'm now 98 years old and still going strong, and, yes, I vividly remember the advent of computers). I am resisting the possibility that this strange turn of events is a harbinger of karmic decay!
