Cannot Log Back In to User Account After Logging Out on MacBook Pro 16

I have a MacBook Pro 16 with the M1 Pro chip and running macOS Ventura 13.3.1. I set up two user accounts on the system - one for personal use and one for work.

However, when I log in to both accounts simultaneously and then log out from one of them, I am unable to log back in to that account again.

My MacBook just freezes at this point. I have to hold down the power button to restart it.

When I log in/out and use only one account, everything works fine.

Switching between accounts after I log into them also works fine.

I don't see anything in the report that could cause this.

What exactly happens when you can't log back in? Do you get any error message?

No error messages.

Just endless loading.
