Apple Savings Account not showing up

Once you update to iOS 16.4.1 you'll see the option for savings in your Apple Card.

Make sure to have iOS 16.4 installed

Make sure you have the latest iOS update! My mom had the same issue where she couldn’t see it. When she updated her phone, within the hour of us identifying she had an update, we were able to see it.

The savings plan is not for the Apple Card as the Apple Card is a credit card and cannot carry a balance. The savings plan is for the Apple Cash app. If you have Apple Cash setup and your cash back savings are sent to the Apple Cash, those savings can then be added to the new savings option.

Yes, but it turns out my iPhone 7 doesn't go up to the required OS. Hopefully there's another way to get the account without having to upgrade my phone.

True. But I manually initiated the update and thereafter the Savings Account option did appear in my Apple Card account. I signed up and got sn account going easily once the update was installed.

You’ve physically looked at you iOS version?

Settings > General > About

it should be out now, have you tried finding it again? It's in the Apple Card settings in the Wallet app.

That is NOT the Apple Card. See the post on the previous page for what the Apple Card looks like in your Wallet App.

It just appeared as an option in my Apple Card within the past few minutes. So, it's slowly rolling out.

Yes.. the Apple Card is only available in the United States

The support person was not properly informed. Apple Savings went live around 11:30 AM EDT yesterday. The system was slowed or unavailable because the high volume slowed their servers/systems. If you still can’t open an account please reply and we’ll try to help.

If you selected that option when you set up the savings account. It’s easy to change though.

Open Wallet App on iPhone > Tap Apple Card > Tap More Button in upper right corner > Tap Daily Cash > Daily Cash Election >switch where Daily Cash is deposited.
