I’ve had iPhones since iPhone 3 model. My new iPhone 14 Pro Max stopped ringing. I don't know I got a call unless a voicemail notice pops up with phone in hand! I am familiar with Focus, silence button on left side, blocked callers, etc and checked all. Expecting to find related to a recent update.

If your calls are going right to voicemail and you've already checked the silent switch and Focus, the next thing you'll want to check is for Call Forwarding. Go to Settings > Phone > Call Forwarding, and see if that is currently turned on. If it is, turn it off.
Set up call forwarding and call waiting on iPhone
If there's no call forwarding set up, and you're still not getting incoming calls you may want to contact your wireless carrier to let them know of the issue.
