Error trying to install Logi Capture for my Stream Cam which is not being detected by my MacBook Pro

That is NOT literally an Installation issue. Logi Capture is installed and trying to execute.

It executes an illegal instruction and crashes your Mac.

With the wide use of complier code, illegal instruction crashes are extremely rare, and should NOT be taken at face value.

Third party software such as anti-malware or other software conflicts or RAM memory issues are far more likely to be the underlying cause.

Yep. Same. Macbook Air M1 chip 2020 running OS Ventura 13.2.

Bought two Logitech Streamcams brand new four years ago, £100 each. Got in a muddle. Trying again here a few years later. No instructions. No support. 'Getting Started' on the website PRESUMES that you already know you need Logi Capture. Downloaded it from the site. Quits immediately. Doesn't even 'start'.

I am FED UP with this sort of thing. We've creative people out here. We're not interested in the gadget, the jargon and the nonsense. We just want to get on with what we're good at. USING the tool. Instead we have to prod around like an idiot, left high and dry, trying to remedy or resolve things before we've flipping started.

I'm afraid I have no answer or solution yet. Currently watching a YouTube video, uploaded by some bloke from Birmingham having the same struggles and trying to solve it on his own.

It's RIDICULOUS.
